The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 global objectives established by the United Nations to address the world’s most pressing challenges by 2030.


















Addictlab courses are a unique blend of creative experiences to trigger curiosity, learn to collaborate and ideate all while having fun. Designed to inspire and accelerate talent, lesson plans can be adapted to students' curriculum, age, maturity or personal interest.
We know what we teach kids, but do we know who we raise? We use the Creative Chemistry Cards to profile and assess our students.
For the Hackathon the students can use the SDG Fablab to prototype their ideas. What machines are available? How do they work?

Get access to the SDGFablab to prototype your ideas. The lab boasts 250 boxes and tools including 3D printing, robotics, laser cutting.
Learn to document the process, the ideas and the hackathon output. Best ideas will be published in the SDGzine.
Students will select a subject for the Ideation and Hackathon. Real life issues, with experts coming in to help and guide. The deliverable is an idea database that can be handed over to the Hackathon lead. The project needs to be documented in the SDGzine. (list here is example from Summer 2025)

Learn from Experts and Visionaries
Jan Van Mol, hailed as a concept king and brand guru, founded Addictlab.com in 1997—a global creative lab fostering innovation across disciplines. With 35+ publications, exhibitions, and out-of-the-box collaborations, Addictlab fuels creativity. In 2016, he launched Addictlab Academy, expanding lab tools to all ages through workshops, a mobile lab, and STEAM programs, engaging 200+ kids monthly. Committed to impact, he developed the SDG Impact Kit, making Addictlab a key hub in Geneva for accelerating action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Annette Ebbinghaus is the Managing Director of TrulyBalance Sàrl and the creator of the beChill® programs. Annette is a Civil Engineer, and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business in Canada. She is a Master Sophrologist, an ASCA certified complimentary therapist, and a wellbeing and resilience practitioner versed in several different methodologies. Annette has worked extensively with adolescents since 2000, offering sustainable development discovery programs.
Jane is a certified CELTA and CELTYL teacher based in France with 15 years of experience in teaching English. Jane also works at Addictlab in Geneva, a creative research platform that promotes innovation through multidisciplinary collaboration, with a strong focus on the SDGs. Outside of work, she is passionate about cuisine and wine, and is an autodidactic artist and crafter.
