Miriam is a Junior at Harvard University from New York City, concentrating in Chemistry while pursuing a secondary in Ethnicity, Migration, Rights. She is passionate about research, having begun her research career at Hunter College in high school, and she is currently doing research related to Green Chemistry, Sustainability, and Climate Change. Miriam is a Program Manager at a Tutoring Organization dedicated to serving underserved communities and does volunteer work primarily in the healthcare sector. She is also currently involved in the Harvard Health Policy Review as an associate editor, Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers as Treasurer, and Harvard Indigo Magazine as Treasurer. Miriam has experience tutoring in math and the sciences as well as english. In her free time she loves going on spontaneous adventures, reading, hiking, and playing the cello.
