This 6-week experiential learning project, in collaboration with Spin Ventures, is designed to empower students to develop strategies for reducing carbon footprints within their chosen industries. Guided by Harvard Student Mentors, participants will research the supply and value chains of their selected sectors, identifying key areas where sustainable practices can be implemented. The project culminates in a PowerPoint presentation and/or a research paper (1500–2000 words) proposing innovative solutions for enhancing sustainability while maintaining economic growth.
About Spin Venture
Spin Ventures was set-up with a mission to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy in the consumer sector. We understand that the transition to a circular economy is a complex and multifaceted challenge that requires a holistic approach, that’s why we strive to create an ecosystem designed to make things happen by bringing together start-ups founders, corporations and investors. We are all about circularity. Our unique and interconnected ecosystem includes a venture accelerator, a venture fund, and a consulting unit, all working together to create real change. As the "house of circularity," we're dedicated to making things happen and accelerating the shift towards a more sustainable future.
About the Experiential Learning Project
This project offers hands-on experience in sustainable development and circular economy practices. Participants will gain practical insights into addressing real-world challenges and contributing to environmental sustainability. They will work on projects that involve real case studies, allowing them to apply their learning to actual industry scenarios.
